1. Charred And Rotten Narcissus (2023)
   Digital version, photo
The original name of the daffodil is Narcissus, which is the psychological term for narcissism, derived from the Greek myth of Narcissus. Extracting the imagery element of the daffodil and the physical symbol of Narcissus gazing at his own reflection in the water, the daffodil as a symbol responds to the individual.

In the corresponding era appearance on the Internet. Plato's cave theory holds that we are all shadows on the wall. In the post-truth context, individuals have difficulty distinguishing what is true. I respond to this by creating a scene as an underground river cave.

2. How to survive a super long commute(2024)
   Video, 2 min 35 sec

It is imagined that the problem of excessive commuting time will become increasingly severe in the future. The project will try to discuss and deal with this social problem in the virtual space with the method of speculative design. A series of experimental solutions have been proposed to explore possible ways to improve the commuting situation.

Through the design of a series of virtual wearing devices, the commuting is viewed from a new perspective, so as to stimulate the public to deeply think and pay attention to this social phenomenon.

4.  Quest(2023)
    4’53”, digital, variable dimensions
This short film was created in just 72 hours for the 72-Hour Unreal Engine Rendering Contest hosted by the Communication University of China. Quest is both a technical challenge and an artistic journey, exploring humanity’s eternal struggle between instinct, survival, and the search for meaning.

5.  Character Workflow Practice(2022)
    digital, variable dimensions

A Character Study is a 3D practice project that explores the complete character creation pipeline. From modeling, retopology, sculpting, UV unwrapping, texturing, and material creation, to lighting and final rendering, every step was carried out as a workflow exercise.

The project aims to strengthen technical proficiency while experimenting with visual style, presenting a cohesive workflow from concept to final render.

6. under erasure(2024)
   1’55”, digital video, variable dimensions
The inspiration for this project came from the observation of how mistakes are repeatedly corrected yet never fully eliminated—each correction leaves behind a trace. This process echoes Derrida’s notion of “under erasure”, where meaning is simultaneously erased and preserved, never fully disappearing.

Through the case of NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), the work examines how structural mismatches, economic instability, and lack of social mobility create a cycle of exclusion. Erasure here becomes both a lived reality and a metaphor for how individuals and communities are left in-between: neither fully recognized, nor fully erased.

Methodologically, the project adopts a performative approach, combining a virtual narrator’s voice with fragments of found poetry, selectively “erasing” parts of text to generate new meaning.

This experimental exploration invites viewers to reflect on the tension between social precarity and the persistence of identity, revealing how acts of erasure expose the fragility of today’s cultural and social order.
